The rules and guidelines for using the Reeval platform.
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Reeval platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Use of the Service
The Service provides AI-powered evaluation, skill assessment, and Elo-based ranking in technical disciplines. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) attempt to manipulate your Elo rating through fraudulent activity; (b) use automated tools to interact with the evaluation system; (c) share account access with others; (d) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the AI models or assessment algorithms; or (e) use the Service to develop competing products.
4. Elo Ratings and Leaderboards
Your Elo rating is calculated based on your performance in evaluation sessions. Ratings are designed to reflect genuine skill level and are subject to our evaluation rubrics. We reserve the right to adjust ratings if we detect manipulation or gaming of the system. Leaderboard participation is optional and you may choose to hide your profile at any time through your settings.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its AI models, assessment rubrics, ranking algorithms, user interface, and all related content, is owned by Reeval and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any original content you create during evaluation sessions. By using the Service, you grant Reeval a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use anonymized session data to improve our AI models and assessment quality.
6. For Employers
Employers may browse the public leaderboard and candidate profiles to identify talent. Employer access to detailed candidate information may require a separate agreement. Reeval does not guarantee the accuracy of Elo ratings as a predictor of job performance and provides rankings as one data point among many in hiring decisions.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated assessments are provided for evaluation purposes and may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee specific employment results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reeval shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Reeval in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
